Dr. Francis R. Gouin: “Maximizing Crop Production in Limited Space” as well as irrigation, bugs, fertility, and diseases within the garden on March 24th, 7-9 PM, Broadneck Public Library meeting room.
The Goshen Farm Sharing Garden has invited the Cape St. Claire Garden Club and other interested gardeners and guests to join them for this informative talk.
Dr. Gouin, the nation’s foremost environmental horticulturalist, Professor Emeritus (University of Maryland), expert on composting and the use of compost, creator of the Master Gardener program in Maryland, writer of many columns on gardening wisdom for the “Bay Weekly,” the Annapolis Horticultural Society, and assorted nursery and landscape publications, and author of “Enough Said! A Guide to Gardening through the Seasons,” will speak on the many aspects of organic gardening.
