Join the Broadneck Council of Communities

The Broadneck Council of Communities, Inc. (BCC), formed in 2007, is a 501c4 – not for profit- organization representing over nine thousand citizens through their BCC member organizations. We have monthly Board meetings and quarterly general meetings at the Cape St. Claire Clubhouse.

We focus on the environment, support Anne Arundel County approved ‘smart growth’ and challenge illegal development and advocate for appropriate development standards on the Broadneck Peninsula. We join with other participants and represent the Broadneck area on the Bay Bridge Reconstruction Advisory Committee (BBRAC) with DOT-MdTA members who advise and support improved road and bridge corridors through this area.

As the only organization in the area dedicated to the Broadneck Peninsula, we ask your community to join us in our efforts to improve and protect our Peninsula. We interract with other organizations in this area—GAN, APC, GSPC, and the River Associations. We meet with our County Councilmen, our State Delegates, AA County Departments and State Agencies. Our goal is to improve our property values and advance the preservation of our critical areas. We are working with BBRAC to improve transportation on Rte #50 and our two Bridges and drive funding for a possible Bay Bridge replacement.

Please join the BCC and work with us to safeguard this Peninsula.
