Broadneck Council of Communities – Spring Public Mtg – Apr. 20

Join the BCC on April 20th

Meeting time is 7:30pm to 9pm.

SUBJECT: TRANSPORTATION ISSUES

Our program will be devoted to Traffic and Transportation issues — we are working diligently to move forward on solutions for our Broadneck corridor.

• You will hear presentations on Governor Hogan’s $5M funded Master Study of alternate sites for the additional/replacement span/s for the Bay Bridge.

• For residents of Broadneck who have been seriously inconvenienced by the excess of DNR Sandy Point State Park traffic/attendees, we present solutions developed through long meetings and work sessions with Senator Ed Reilly, District #33 Delegates Malone and Saab, the Superintendent of Md. State Parks-Nita Settina, SHA-Hilary Gonzales, AA County Police, State Police and the BCC who have contributed to the plan.

• We will also present the latest update for the Severn River Bridge with times and action plans for all who use this corridor.

Please join us and enjoy refreshments over “meet and greet” with our presenters.

This is your last chance to be heard prior to our first holiday weekend of 2017. We are hoping that Broadneck roads at Sandy Point will be clear of standing vehicles with County Police managing the traffic problems we endured over the past several years.

Come and ask questions about the site selection study for the new Bay Bridge Span…..do you want it here at Rte #50/301 or elsewhere? Tell the MdTA Project Manager what you recommend to make Broadneck Roads navigable again.

See you on 4/20th, 7:30pm to 9pm

Location: Cape St. Claire Improvement Association Club House
1223 River Bay Road, Annapolis, MD 21409
