BROADNECK DEVELOPMENT ALERT – 14 DAY COMMENT PERIOD

If you did not get a chance to provide your comments on the preliminary pre-submittal plan for the new Freshfield development planned for the Shore Acres Rd/College Parkway intersection. You can comment or ask questions for 14 days after the event. This link will give you access to the presentation & comments from the meeting (1h 45min long) and a link to leave your comments that will help them decide how to proceed.
Without some heavy lifting/lobbying it will be difficult to keep this property from being developed, but it can be made better. The developers are currently asking for some modification to the standard rules (things decided within the County department), but not asking for variances (things decided by hearing officers).
