Kids Are Back To School – Traffic will be different

Be advised that the Academic Year 2022 – 2023 has new school start times for Elementary, Middle, and High Schools. Travel time windows will be compressed, and generally later in the morning. Therefore, community traffic patterns will be different than in the past, and possibly more congested.

Prepare to be patient and cautious, as everyone works through the new schedule’s effects. More walkers, more cars will be on the roads and crossing points (more bus drivers still need to be hired). Remember buses are now outfitted with cameras and will be recording during bus stops, so obey those stop signs! Please be mindful of the traffic patterns coming to the Broadneck, starting this week, as a result of the new school start times.
