The speaker is Kim Tran, District Engineer for District #5 in AA County. She reviews MD State Highway Administration ‘survey results’ and transportations studies conducted over the summer of 2022. Issues include:

– Traveler use of smart phones that turns traffic flow into the equivalent of water – impossible to guide away from any road path that will save couple of minutes

– Federal money for highways that eliminates the possibility of selecting use of these service roads.

– Further studies to come about selective ramp metering or closures.
