DESCRIPTION:The Broadneck Council of Communities invites all BCC members and residents of the Broadneck Peninsula to attend our General Meeting to review the past season of the work by our County Council\, and the efforts to control Bay Bridge Traffic. We will be joined by our District 5 Councilwoman Amanda Fiedler\, and by our State Highway Administration Rep to review the ramp closure plan from this summer and how we faired with the Bay Bridge Traffic.\nThursday\, September 26 @ 7:00 – 9:00 PM \nCape St Claire Clubhouse \n1223 River Bay Road.  \nCandidates for our November elections have been invited to provide brief introductions at this meeting. \nRefreshments will be served during post meeting discussions.

SUMMARY:Survey and Metered Traffic Test – The Results!
DESCRIPTION:The online survey and Oceanic Drive Ramp metered traffic test results will be presented on October 12th (7PM) at a BCC/State Highway Administration follow-up meeting in the Cape St. Claire Clubhouse\, 1223 River Bay Rd.  \n\n\n\nKim Trans\, the District #5 Engineer\, will be the SHA speaker for the night\, to present the study results. The metered traffic light pilot on the Oceanic Drive ramp operating during the first two weekends in August\, resulted in slowing down vehicles who jumped off of Rt #50/301 onto the service roads to avoid highway traffic. The traffic at east-bound Exit #32 on ramp was controlled by a temporary traffic light that managed the of all vehicles onto Rt #50 east.
