DESCRIPTION:The Broadneck Council of Communities-BCC\, invites our members and other residents of the Broadneck Peninsula to attend the Thursday- April 27\, 2023 General Meeting scheduled for 7:00-8:30PM in the Cape St. Claire Clubhouse at 1223 River Bay Rd. The guest speaker for this event is our Congressman John Sarbanes\, who will cover issues of concern to this geography with particular emphasis on the potential for a Chesapeake National Recreation Area (CNRA) at the Whitehall Mansion on the Bay at Whitehall Rd. Senator Van Hollen and Congressman Sarbanes have drafted legislation to name Whitehall as the CNRA flagship site under the National Park Services.
