Cluster Development on E. College Parkway

A public meeting to comment on the development proposal is scheduled for Tuesday June 14, 2016, 7:30 PM at the Cape St. Claire Clubhouse (1223 River Bay Rd).

A proposal for a cluster development of 100 single family houses on four parcels of land totaling 55 acres of mostly wetlands has been proposed by David Adler, the developer of the large Russet complex in west AA County.

The location is on the north side of Rt 50, toward the Bay Bridge between Log Inn Rd and Yorktown Rd.

The developer has already been to OPZ with their sketch plan and know they will have to seek an upgrade in zoning from R1 to R2 to yield the 100 homes they need for their profit margins. The development location will require them to bring in water and sewer as well as improve the roads in the location so having a limit of 55 homes would not present them with the profit needed for justify the venture.

We requested this meeting at 7:30PM on 6/14 to let concerned residents have a chance to comment early in the process on the appropriate level of development for this area. David Adler will present his sketch plans for the development and answer the many questions that we anticipate.

Please join us. We need all the eyes on this that we can get. Contact Pat Lynch at 410-757-3231 for questions.
