Test the New Voting Machines

The State of Maryland has announced that a new voting system has been introduced and will be ready for use during the 2016 elections.

The system will be demonstrated by representatives of the AA County Board of Elections (AAC/BOE) over the next week for residents of the Broadneck Peninsula and Severna Park. Other library locations have been scheduled throughout the County.
The intent is to have interested voters join members of the AAC/BOE to observe the demo and provide input and evaluations on the ease of use as well as feedback and comments on suggested changes to improve the usability of the system. Rolf Wold, Broadneck Council member and past President of the Raintree Community Association, will be our host at these demonstrations.
The demos of Maryland’s New Voting System will be presented at selected Library locations in AA County.
The following are the locations and schedules for Broadneck-Arnold and Severna Park residents:

*Monday, November 30, 2015 –Severna Park Community Library 3:00-6:00 PM

*Tuesday, December 1, 2015 — Broadneck Community Library 3:00-6:00 PM
Hope you will take the time to join us and participate in the demonstrations and evaluations.
