A second bit at the apple!
Last month’s BCC and CSCIA Candidates Night offered an opportunity to get acquainted with the candidates for our District 33 state representatives. Now you will get an extended opportunity to discuss the current and future issues facing our County and State. Join us on May 29th at 7:30pm in the Cape St. Claire Clubhouse for an issues roundtable Q & A with your elected leaders. State representatives Cathy Vitale, Tony McConkey and Senator Ed Reilly, will be joined by County Councilman Dick Ladd.
This meeting will be informal. But we request that if at all possible you submit questions in advance for the first part of the program. This why our representatives can come prepared with useful information to share. The second part of the program will be an open Q & A session. There will be time to ‘meet and greet’ our speakers over refreshments at the end of the evening. We will also welcome any of the candidates from our 4/28 meeting to attend this “Round Table”. However this is not a political event, campaign speeches are discouraged from either the speakers or the attendees. This program is our response to Broadneck residents’ request to schedule a follow on meeting, allowing more time for questions about the issues facing our community.
Join us on May 29th and express your issues and ask your questions!
This event is scheduled for Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 7:30-9:30 PM at the Cape St. Claire Clubhouse (1223 River Bay Road –located at the waterfront end of Cape St. Claire Road and one block to the right– on River Bay Road. Parking is behind the Clubhouse).
Please call me at (410) 757-3231 for questions.
